Aqix Limited is awarded a Research and Development Grant from the Technology Strategy Board for intravenous application of AQIX® RS-I.

AUGUST 2011

Aqix Limited patent for the intravenous application of AQIX® RS-I is granted in South Africa.

APRIL 2012

Aqix Limited is to participate as an SME member of the Consortium on Organ Preservation in Europe (COPE) grant award for €5.9M during 2013-17 to provide AQIX® RS-I as the base solution in the quest for improved, normothermic graft preservation of human donor organs.

DECEMBER 2012

Aqix Limited receives a notification of intent from the European Patent Office to be granted a EU patent filed in July, 2008, for applications of AQIX® RS-I involving blood/body fluid volume replacement therapies.

European Patent Office grants Aqix Ltd a EU patent for intravenous applications of AQIX® RS-I involving blood/body fluid volume replacement therapies.

2006 Res-Del International Ltd was renamed Aqix Limited following new investment funding and a new corporate board. Res-Del International Ltd was the incorporation of Res-Del Ltd, New Zealand.
2003 Patent for RS-I solution granted in EU/USA for organ perfusion and preservation. Solution receives AQIX® trademark.
2002-2005 Res-Del Ltd negotiated with a Organ Recovery Systems and Bowman Research (USA) to audit trial AQIX® RS-I solution for use as a hypothermic preservation and normothermic perfusion medium with human tissues and organs.
These trials proved successful with AQIX® RS-I being adopted as the data base perfusate in drug bioassay assessment of re-animated cadaver human donor organs (e.g., kidneys; lungs; livers; intestine) which were unsuitable for recipient transplantation.
2000 Res-Del International Ltd files patent on RS-I solution for examination in EU/USA.
