AQIX® RS-I 10x Concentrate

Specifically designed for long term storage of the solution, AQIX® RS-I 10x concentrate provides a flexible product form that maximises shelf life while requiring minimal preparation prior to use.

Formulation

AQIX® RS-I 10x concentrate is provided as a 100mL sterile concentrate solution supplied in a neutral 100mL Type I PhEur borosilicate glass bottle with a conventional pharmaceutical 20 mm Flurotec Plus® coated Chlorobutyl injection stopper and flip-off tear-off aluminum crimp closure.

AQIX® RS-I 10x concentrate is manufactured to current GMP standards for Aqix Limited by Nova Laboratories Ltd (UK).

Reconstitution

1L of AQIX® RS-I 1x 'ready-to-use' solution can be aseptically prepared from the 10x concentrate by diluting 1 in 10 with an appropriate grade Water containing Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate (25mmol/L).

For ex-vivo applications, the prepared AQIX® RS-I  'ready-to-use' (1x) solution requires carbogenation [5% CO2/95% O2] following preparation to establish the correct pH of the solution.

For more details on reconstitution see our Standard Procedure on 'Assembly and Storage'.

Shelf-life

AQIX® RS-I 10x concentrate has a shelf life of 16 months from the date of manufacture when stored at 2-8°C.

AQIX® RS-I 1x 'ready-to-use' solution has a shelf life of 6 months from the date of manufacture if stored at 2-8°C.
